Terms of use and disclaimer
These terms apply when you use Saju Character (saju.calculab.net, "this site"). There is no signup, login, or payment, so we kept the terms short.
1. The service
This site calculates your Saju chart and Day Pillar character from your birthday, and shows today's flow, tarot card meanings, compatibility, and a 12-month New Year reading. Every feature is free. If we ever add a paid feature (such as a detailed reading report), we will update these terms and let you know before it starts. Calculations run in your browser, and the birthday and birth time you enter are never sent to a server or stored. Details are in the privacy policy.
2. Results are for fun and for reference
- Saju, daily flow, tarot, and compatibility readings are entertainment based on traditional Korean Four Pillars theory and tarot interpretation. They are not scientifically validated, and they do not predict or guarantee the future.
- Please don't use them to make important decisions about health, treatment, law, money and investing, marriage or breakups, school, or work. Make those decisions yourself, and talk to a qualified professional when you need to.
- Please don't use compatibility results to judge or discriminate against other people.
3. Limits of the calculation
We use published astronomical formulas and historical time zone records to be accurate, but we can't guarantee every case.
- Solar terms (the moments months change) come from astronomical formulas and can differ from published times by about a minute. If you were born close to a boundary, the result screen tells you.
- Historical daylight saving and standard time records differ a little between sources.
- Birthplace correction uses the longitude of the cities on our list.
Our methods and sources are all public on the How we calculate page. If you spot a mistake, tell us and we will fix it.
4. Text written with help from AI
Some readings were written with help from AI. Pages that include such text are labeled. Saju terms and relationships (Ten Gods, Twelve Life Stages, harmonies and clashes, and so on) are set by calculation, not by the text.
5. Ads and outside links
This site shows Google ads. The advertisers and the sites ads lead to are responsible for the ad content and for any transaction that happens there. The same goes for links to outside sites.
6. Changes and interruptions
Because this is a free service, features and content may change, and the service may pause or stop entirely for maintenance or operating reasons. We will post big changes on the site in advance when we can. We can't take responsibility when the service becomes unavailable for reasons the operator can't prevent, such as natural disasters, power outages, or hosting provider failures.
7. Limit of responsibility
This site is a free reference. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for decisions you make based on the results or for what follows from them. However, if damage is caused by the operator's intentional misconduct or gross negligence, we are responsible under applicable law.
8. Copyright
The operator owns the copyright in this site's text, character names, share-image designs, and code. You are free to share links and share images personally. You may not copy the text wholesale to another site or use it commercially without permission.
