Peak (帝旺) stage meaning
Energy at its summit, like an emperor. The strongest stage, and so the easiest to break.
What is the Peak stage?
Peak (帝旺) is the stage where energy reaches its highest point. It is confident and strong like a king, and its push is the greatest of the Twelve Life Stages. For yang Day Masters it usually overlaps with the Rob Wealth position and can also become Yang Blade. As much as the strength overflows, so do willfulness, stubbornness, and the shock when it breaks.
When your Day Pillar sits at Peak
If your Day Pillar sits at Peak, you have a strong leader's streak and achieve big things. Working under others is hard, and you feel comfortable only when you lead. The catch is that you can be so strong that the people around you struggle, and once you break, you may be badly shaken.
In the Year, Month, and Hour Pillars
Peak in the Year Pillar means there was a strong elder in the family, and Peak in the Month Pillar is an energy of taking big positions and big responsibility in society. Peak in the Hour Pillar means your children are strong, or that your energy overflows late in life.
Things to watch
Strength easily turns into willfulness. People who share their power and look back behind them use the Peak energy for a long time.
