Tomb (墓) stage meaning

What is the Tomb stage?

Tomb (墓) is the stage where energy enters the tomb to rest. It is also called Go (庫), the storehouse, so it means the power to gather and store. You are frugal and thrifty and treasure old things. You tend to pile things up inside rather than show them outside, so you are strong at accumulating wealth.

When your Day Pillar sits at Tomb

If your Day Pillar sits at Tomb, you are thrifty and careful. You hold on to money, things, and people for a long time. The catch is that you do not show what is inside and can look stingy, and being tied to the past can delay a fresh start.

In the Year, Month, and Hour Pillars

Tomb in the Year Pillar means you value your ancestors and family roots, and Tomb in the Month Pillar fits work that gathers and protects, like finance, management, collecting, and history. Tomb in the Hour Pillar means settling down late in life on what you have stored up.

Things to watch

Only pile things up and the energy gets blocked. Open the storehouse now and then to share and sort, and it grows bigger.

How to read the twelve stages

The Twelve Life Stages compare the strength of your Day Master on each branch to the twelve stages of a human life. Enter your birthday and the chart table shows the stage of each pillar. Read them together with the Ten Gods to see what kind of energy sits in each seat and how strong it is.
