Today's exam by Ten God
Your exam outlook changes with which Ten God today's Heavenly Stem is for your Day Master. Here are all ten cases in one table.
| Today's stem as a Ten God | Grade | Reading |
|---|---|---|
| Companion | Steady | Studying with others gives you a boost. Check in with a study partner and keep pace together. |
| Rob Wealth | Take care | Look at your own study plan instead of how far others have gotten. Comparing yourself with others can make you anxious today. |
| Eating God | Steady | What you know flows out easily today. Try practicing written answers or speaking. |
| Hurting Officer | Steady | Your mind is sharp, but careless mistakes tag along. Read each question to the end and check your answers one more time. |
| Indirect Wealth | Take care | Plenty besides studying pulls at your attention. Put your phone out of reach and carve out time to focus, even if it is short. |
| Direct Wealth | Steady | The more carefully you organize, the more sticks today. Spend some time on a mistake log or summary notes. |
| Seven Killings | Steady | Decide ahead of time to skip hard questions and come back to them later. Nerves and pressure run high. |
| Direct Officer | Good | You perform well within set rules. Stick to your planned pacing, and good results follow. |
| Indirect Resource | Good | Go back over a unit you were stuck on with a different book or lecture. New ways to solve problems flash into your mind. |
| Direct Resource | Good | What you study sinks in well today. Set aside a solid block for memorizing and review. |
Pick your Day Pillar and the grade also moves one step up or down with the harmony or clash between today's Earthly Branch and your Day Branch.
What decides today's exam luck?
We look at which Ten God today's Heavenly Stem is for your Day Master. Resource days (Indirect Resource or Direct Resource) carry the energy of learning and documents, and Direct Officer days carry the energy of passing and recognition, so they count as good. Indirect Wealth days scatter the energy you need for studying, since Wealth holds down Resource, and Rob Wealth days push you to compare yourself with others, so they are days to take care.
If my exam luck says Take care on test day, will I do badly?
No. Your exam results depend on how well you prepare. A Take care day means mistakes come more easily, so read every question to the end and check your answers once more. It also helps to decide ahead of time to skip hard questions and come back to them later.
What kind of studying works best on a good exam luck day?
Direct Resource and Indirect Resource days are good for memorizing, reviewing, and learning new ways to solve problems. Eating God days suit essay questions or speaking practice, where you put what you know into words, and on Direct Wealth days careful organizing, like a log of questions you got wrong, pays off.
How we read it
Your exam horoscope comes from how today's Heavenly Stem relates to your Day Master, which is its Ten God. Resource days (Indirect Resource or Direct Resource) carry the energy of learning and documents, and Direct Officer days carry the energy of passing and recognition, so they count as good. Indirect Wealth days scatter the energy you need for studying (what Saju calls Wealth holding down Resource), and Rob Wealth days push you to compare yourself with others, so they are days to take care. When you pick your Day Pillar, we also check whether today's Earthly Branch pairs up with your Day Branch (Six Harmony or Three Harmony) or clashes with it (Clash), and move the grade up or down one step.
This horoscope is just for fun. Your exam results depend on how well you prepare, not on a horoscope. When the date changes, it is recalculated for the new day.
