Today's career luck by Day Master
Your Day Master is the first character of your Day Pillar. For the Gyeong-o Day Pillar, it is Yang Metal (庚).
Today's career by Ten God
Your career outlook changes with which Ten God today's Heavenly Stem is for your Day Master. Here are all ten cases in one table.
| Today's stem as a Ten God | Grade | Reading |
|---|---|---|
| Companion | Steady | Working together gives you a boost. Share the load with coworkers instead of carrying it alone. |
| Rob Wealth | Take care | Keep a record of the work you did. Splitting the credit can easily leave hurt feelings. |
| Eating God | Good | You work fast, and the results come out well. Clear out the tasks you have put off while you are on a roll. |
| Hurting Officer | Take care | You may butt heads with a boss. Even when you are right, say it gently. |
| Indirect Wealth | Steady | You end up running in every direction. Keep your to-do list short, and less slips through the cracks. |
| Direct Wealth | Good | Careful finishing touches shine today. Double-check numbers and dates. |
| Seven Killings | Steady | Pressure and deadlines pile up. Pull it off and your standing rises a lot, so set your priorities first. |
| Direct Officer | Good | Your sense of responsibility gets noticed today. Finish what you took on as promised, and good feedback follows. |
| Indirect Resource | Steady | Jot down any approach that comes to mind. Ideas and research flow easily, and those notes will come in handy later. |
| Direct Resource | Good | Learning and getting help both come easily today. Ask about what you do not know, and get your paperwork in order. |
Pick your Day Pillar and the grade also moves one step up or down with the harmony or clash between today's Earthly Branch and your Day Branch.
What decides today's work luck?
We look at which Ten God today's Heavenly Stem is for your Day Master. Eating God days help you turn out results, Direct Wealth days reward attention to detail, Direct Officer days bring recognition and responsibility, and Direct Resource days favor learning and getting help, so they count as good. Rob Wealth days can leave hurt feelings over shared credit, and Hurting Officer days make it easy to clash with a boss, so they are days to take care.
Why do Hurting Officer days make it easy to clash with a boss?
In Saju, the Hurting Officer is energy that strikes at the Officer, which stands for rules and the people above you. This pattern is called the Hurting Officer meeting the Officer. Your mind works fast and you have more to say on these days, so read it as a reminder to phrase things gently, even when you are right.
What if I have an interview or presentation on a Take care work day?
There is no need to reschedule. Treat a Take care day as a signal to prepare one more time. Keep a record of the work you have done, and double-check your numbers and dates. Make decisions like changing jobs or signing contracts by weighing the actual terms, not a horoscope.
How we read it
Your career horoscope comes from how today's Heavenly Stem relates to your Day Master, which is its Ten God. Eating God days help you turn out results, Direct Wealth days reward attention to detail, Direct Officer days bring recognition and responsibility, and Direct Resource days favor learning and getting help, so they count as good. Rob Wealth days can leave hurt feelings over shared credit, and Hurting Officer days make it easy to clash with a boss (what Saju calls the Hurting Officer meeting the Officer), so they are days to take care. When you pick your Day Pillar, we also check whether today's Earthly Branch pairs up with your Day Branch (Six Harmony or Three Harmony) or clashes with it (Clash), and move the grade up or down one step.
This horoscope is just for fun. Make decisions like changing jobs or signing contracts by weighing the actual terms, not horoscopes. When the date changes, it is recalculated for the new day.
