Today's job search by Ten God
Your job search outlook changes with which Ten God today's Heavenly Stem is for your Day Master. Here are all ten cases in one table.
| Today's stem as a Ten God | Grade | Reading |
|---|---|---|
| Companion | Steady | Swapping information with people in the same boat pays off. Keep an eye out for job openings together. |
| Rob Wealth | Take care | Instead of sizing up other candidates, sum up your own strengths in one line. The competition is on your mind more than usual today. |
| Eating God | Good | This is your chance to show what you can do. Polish your portfolio or the way you introduce yourself. |
| Hurting Officer | Take care | Your words can easily run ahead of you. Be honest in interviews, but keep your opinions about past jobs or companies to yourself. |
| Indirect Wealth | Steady | Opportunities seem to pop up everywhere. Cast a wide net, but sort your applications by deadline first. |
| Direct Wealth | Steady | You can see the fine print clearly today. Lay out salary and working conditions side by side. |
| Seven Killings | Steady | Practice likely questions out loud ahead of time. A stress interview or a tight timeline can easily come up. |
| Direct Officer | Good | Roles and connections line up well today. Send in an application, or follow up with a place you have been waiting to hear from. |
| Indirect Resource | Steady | You find yourself rethinking your career path. Write down what you want to do and what you are good at as two separate lists. |
| Direct Resource | Good | Referrals and paperwork work in your favor today. Get your resume and certificates in order, and ask for help. |
Pick your Day Pillar and the grade also moves one step up or down with the harmony or clash between today's Earthly Branch and your Day Branch.
What decides today's job search luck?
We look at which Ten God today's Heavenly Stem is for your Day Master. Direct Officer days stand for a position and a workplace, Direct Resource days for referrals and paperwork, and Eating God days for showing what you can do, so they count as good. Hurting Officer days strike at the Officer, and Rob Wealth days carry the energy of competition, so they are days to take care.
Is it better to apply for jobs on a good job luck day?
Deadlines come first. Direct Officer and Direct Resource days favor connections through positions and paperwork, so if everything else is equal, it is worth applying that day or following up with a company you have been waiting to hear from. Do not let a horoscope make you miss a deadline.
How should I prepare if my job luck says Take care on interview day?
On Hurting Officer days, your words can get ahead of you, so be honest but hold back on judging past jobs or companies. On Rob Wealth days, sum up your own strengths in one line instead of measuring yourself against other candidates. If you are worried about a stress interview, practice likely questions out loud.
How we read it
Your job search horoscope comes from how today's Heavenly Stem relates to your Day Master, which is its Ten God. Direct Officer days stand for a position and a workplace, Direct Resource days for referrals and paperwork, and Eating God days for showing what you can do, so they count as good. Hurting Officer days strike at the Officer (what Saju calls the Hurting Officer meeting the Officer), and Rob Wealth days carry the energy of competition, so they are days to take care. When you pick your Day Pillar, we also check whether today's Earthly Branch pairs up with your Day Branch (Six Harmony or Three Harmony) or clashes with it (Clash), and move the grade up or down one step.
This horoscope is just for fun. Decide where to apply and which offer to accept by weighing the terms and the facts, not horoscopes. When the date changes, it is recalculated for the new day.
